Born on a cold autumn's eve, Seiko was just your typical, everyday newborn... if it weren't for the fact that they weren't born in a hospital and was instead birthed in a backalley doctor's office in Kamurocho, Tokyo. Yua Fujihara, originally known as Althea Dimapilis before traveling from the Philippines to Japan, worked desperately to stay in Japan after running away from her family situation back in the Philippines, only to fall in love with a Shibusawa family man who in turn fell in love with her. Their mutual love made Seiko Fujihara, but knowing that his wife and child's life would never be normal if married and in their life, decided that he would leave them so they could possibly lead a better life.Despite his wishes, however, Yua would eventually lead her life back into the Soapland that he once found her in... and as for Seiko, their Filipino and Japanese heritage would earn them nothing but mockery and bullying. Without the guidance and patience of their mother, who would end up asleep before they came home, or the steadiness and wisdom from their father, who was near absent and never once showed his face, Seiko grew up feeling like they were the one who needed to protect both themself and their mother.Even with their mother being absent from time to time, she never stopped caring for Seiko, whether it be teaching them Tagalog at home, how to cook and take care of their home, or by comforting them in their darker moments. As they matured and grew, they realized that their mother was there for them no matter what. And even as they grew up in Little Asia, they began to realize just how close everyone essentially was to one another.Once they found out that their father was yakuza, it was all over. This is where their hatred of yakuza began to take form, that hate blossoming and spreading to the point that all they felt was rage and resentment whenever they saw that shiny badge on some man's lapel.ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤTHE YEAR IS 1988 ...ㅤSeiko has graduated with top marks in their classes and has earned a spot in Osaka's finest college. They live in Sotenbori, commuting to and from their college while balancing a job at a cafe-slash-bar that situated itself on the Sotenbori's inner city pier that overlooked the strip of river. They visit their mother monthly, sometimes even twice or three times a month, while sending her gifts in between visits to show their gratitude and love towards her. Their life was semi-normal, their hands on the reigns that only they could control; it felt amazing, almost perfect, to the point where they began to relax.Good things must all come to an end at some point. One being that Sotenbori was right in Omi Alliance's backyard... and seeing as they had a distaste for such family men, it was kept in the dark from them that the cafe they worked at almost daily was, in fact, owned by the Kijin Clan, as the Patriarch had been long-term buddies with said owner. Seiko had to learn to play nice or suffer the consequences of possibly being fired; luckily for them, Homare Nishitani was far from normal, so they grew to tolerate the man's frequent visits, flirtatious attitude, and outward personality. It was a surprise for everyone that they ended up more than tolerating him once they grew used to the man.However, with Nishitani's frequent visits and them growing close, others began to target the younger individual as they were assumed to be an easy target to get what they want from the Kijin Clan Patriarch. So much so that it resulted in a kidnapping that lasted for two weeks, where Seiko was tortured for information, and resulted with a two month long recovery process.ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤAND SO LIFE GOES ON ...ㅤAfter the events of Sotenbori, Seiko decided to pack up and go back to Kamurocho, where their mother welcomed them back home with open arms. But realizing that the life they once dreamed of would never come to fruition, they gave up and turned back to the host business. Despite the worries of others who they came to know, Seiko was soon approched by Masaru Sera with a deal they could accept; become an information broker for the Nikkyo Consortium, under the guise as a manager-slash-host for some backalley club named Club Cosmos, and work for the Tojo Clan. With the realization that the Yakuza have a grip on their life and with their urge to want to protect their loved ones, they accept the offer.It takes years to climb to the top of the food chain in the cabaret club industry, but soon enough Club Cosmos came to be one of the more top underground clubs in Kamurocho and, surprisingly, Tokyo. Despite their pride in being able to accomplish such a feat, they keep quiet about owning and running the club, so it's a mystery on who manages the place. Rumors spiral and many of guessed that it's run by one of the top Tojo families, like Dojima or Majima, but no one ever guesses that it's ran by the club's top host.
